Help with becoming a sports reporter?

Question

I'm not entirely sure if it's something I totally want, but it is certainly a career choice that interests me. I'm assuming I would need a degree in journalism, media studies, and possibly communication. But what sort of stuff should I do to land an internship with a big company? If it's something I go about, I want to make the best of it...I'd like to be a well known reporter. It's kind of silly to ask "how do I make that happen", but what I can ask is what sort of stuff helps me get on that track? Also, if it is any help, I'm not thinking of working in the US, but possibly Argentina or Spain since I am native to the language. But I would get my education here. Thank you!

When you go to college major in media arts, communications, or journalism. When you choose a college make sure to pick one with a tv studio and a college newspaper. Get a job working for them both and then when you're ready (junior year) start applying to intern at local radio and tv stations. That will get you on your way. After that, It'll all be about the connections you've made. Keep in touch with people and be really nice and personable. People with jobs like the one you're interested in have great connections.
