Chad Dawson v. Jean Pascal?
I can't believe I haven't seen a question about this one coming up on Sat.? I think its going to be the toughest fight for Dawson so far. Pascal is a real threat and will have his hometown crowd backing him.
Who are you picking?
- I think you 2 may be surprised on this one. Pascal's wins over Diacnu were impressive as Diacun was a very aggressive and dangerous puncher. Dawson, recenly, has only shown that he can beat Johnson and Tarver. This will be his first test in a while against another young and able guy.

Everyone on here should know by now that I am the biggest Chad Dawson fan here! It will be a tough test for Chad because Jean can punch and yes he will have the hometown crowd behind him. However, if Chad shows up like I know he will it will be a long night of punishment for Jean because Chad is too skilled and just plane and simple the better fighter. But like every fight we won't know who will show up for it or not show up for it. Lets hope Chad shows up and show the world why I believe he is the best fighter today...

As tough a fighter as Pascal is (and he is tough as nails) the fact of the matter is Dawson is far too slick, far too smart to get caught up in brawling with the Haitian.
Pascal can punch, and is a warrior. He can also take a good punch, which leads to many great, great fights. But Dawson is one of the slickest fighters in all of boxing. He has fast hands, moves around the ring, can counter punch expertly, can slip punches very well, and uses great footwork. Thing is, he has been criticized for being overly cautious, but it was this very style that has worked for him, so I don't see why he should change up his style to please crowds.
I feel Dawson will win a very wide UD. He is too smart to stand and trade with Pascal, who will try his best to make it a brawl.

If Frosh beat Jean then i be attentive to that Dawson could kill him. i be attentive to that once Jean and Frosh fought the combat could have long previous the two way makes no distinction Chad is purely too quickly and too stable for Jean who I %. to get knocked out interior the seventh around. this could be an eye-catching combat for as log because it final.

Chad is probably a 5 to 1 favorite.
You have not seen a question on Y. A. because Jean is not very well known.

Dawson win this via easy UD. More skills and much slicker than Pascal, who lost to Carl Froch.

When I look at Pascal's resume...I'm not severely impressed. The best opponent he fought was Carl (at 168) Froch...and guess what? He lost. Chad is a bigger (175lbs) boxer and better boxer. He has been tested against better fighters. Even in Montreal...Chad will win a clear decision unless the judges rob him...and it will be an obvious robbery...because I think this performance will be dominant.
