Are LCD screens interchangeable between brands?
For example, could I replace the broken screen of a Vizio 32" LCD with an intact screen from a 32" LCD TV of a different brand? Assuming both are widescreen.

Generally no. Could be that both screens were made in the same Chinese slave labor factory, but chances are against that.

No unless the LCD screens are identical.
In other words, even an LCD from a Vizio model A may not work properly with a Vizio model B.
