Questions about becoming a psychiatrist?

Hi, I'm thinking of becoming a psychiatrist, I was wondering how long it took in Uni to become one and what is good and bad about the job :) thanks for any help

    They are medical doctors--so you need 4 years pre-med undergrad, 4 years med school, and 5+ years residency. It is not a job, it is a career; getting there is expensive & hard
