xbox internet question?
My modem is on the lower level of the house connected to a N300 wireless router. One PC is physically wired to it. My other PC is upstairs connected via the wireless router. The xbox 360 is upstairs next to the PC...instead of having to purchase an expensive wireless adapter, is it possible to connect the 360 through the PC via an ethernet crossover cable?

Yup, that will work. You have to go to the properties of the wireless connection and turn on Internet Connection Sharing (ICS). Now connect the Xbox to the PC with the crossover cable. However, because the Xbox is not connected to your router, it may not get the correct IP address information, so you would have to specify it all manually.
