I bought an album from iTunes and when I tried to play any song, it would skip and just plain wouldn't play.?
I thought perhaps i had to update my iTunes and now I just lost my library completely. Hmph. What do i do?

There are many causes for that to happen. Updating it was kinda stupid.
1. It is not an iPod format, so go to advanced settings and convert the album.
2. It was an unpopular album and it would not seed!
