What BT Package to get for home use?
Hello i am 16 year old boy and looking for a bt Broadband Package and need your help.
sadly we have a Package that is 10gb down lode Limit. (12 months thanks to auto renew )
so this year we are looking to upgrade as i am sick of missing topgear(bbc ipayer), loads of anime and not being able to do online gaming.(also my sister uses you tube a lot)
i would say i would use the internet for ( 4 hours some week days) (7 hours some weekends if raining) that time would be used for loads of anime and online gaming,
The Packages Bt is:
broadband option 2 with 40gb useage
and weekend uk calls
£17.99
or
unlimited broadband
and unlimited phone
£27.99
what one would be best to get?
sorry for my poor spelling
Additional Details
also i cant move to say (sky) or others as it would cost too much and too much time to reset email adds..

That strikes me as silly talk. You (well not you because you are too young to be the account holder) have been stitched up by BT once. I'd be inclined to dump those unbusinesslike scum suckers and go somewhere they don't tie you in with an outrageous contract condition that automatically renews a rotten contract for a further year with penalties if you try to cancel early.
There is no reason it should cost a lot of time or money to change suppliers provided the account holder does so during the next window of opportunity to get out of the abysmal BT contract without penalties. Notifying contacts of a new email address is quick and easy and costs nothing.
There are better deals out there. Only a fool would turn his back on them.

If you can afford it Option 3 is always better than Option 2. However, what you have not been told is that Unlimited download means 100 Gbs. If you go over it, you will not be charged, but your speed will be restricted to 1 Mbps on peak hours.
Hope this helps you to take your decision.
Another suggestion.
Once you upgrade your contract, you have a 10 day period by which you can cancel your contract if you are unsatisfied with the service. That might save the cancellation cost if you want to move to a different ISP.

Get the unlimited package.
I had the 40gb download limit and it ended up costing 40 odd quid a month. It has saved me a ton of money.

wait till your contract is away to run out then call them and ask on your MAC code. they are going to placed you thru to customer determination team or C.O.T and there activity is to maintain you with bt. tell them your subject, your not prepared to pay any greater yet you opt for greater allowance or your going to sky/talk talk and so on and so on .
