PC133 SDRAM, how is server different to desktop?
I've got a PC that runs PC133. Looking for upgrades, and I'm finding lots of PC133 server memory on ebay. This type of memory looks slightly different to desktop memory, slightly taller.
Is all PC133 the same? Will server memory run on my PC or do I have to buy desktop only?
Any posts telling me to get a new computer will be terminated with extreme prejudice

So here's the problem:
Motherboards for servers often require or prefer "registered" and "ECC" memory, for stability purposes.
Lots of consumer motherboards do not support memory with those functions, or will have problems using it.
