Currency speculation?
What are the problems with currency speculation?
Example: If today I have 1000 euro and I buy the equivalent of dollars with it. Then tomorrow the dollar gains against the Euro and I buy back my euros and the value is 1100 euro, what should I consider apart from the 100 profit. What problems are there with this idea?
If I held on to the money and only converted back to EUR when the exchange rate was right then it is risk free (if I don't mind waiting up to 6 months even).
