platinum ore in dragon quest ix?
Where and How do I get Platinum Ore in Dragon Quest IX? I've gone to the place to the right of the bridge in Bloomingdale and I cant find any Ore there at all, not even any sparkles on the ground which show it's there. Do I have to have a pickaxe or something? Does the pile of rocks need to be blown up or something? I can't collect any at all.
also, I would like to know what time of day it's available, cause theres no sparkles on the ground which indicate it's there. Maybe there's a glitch in my game and its not letting me find any.

You don't need any tools to harvest any resource, its always free to pick up. The quantity available can vary though, so spend an hour or two playing the game and check back.
The only resource location that needs to be unlocked, rather than just reached, is the fountain in the Stornway Inn, which requires 30 guests to appear in your hotel.
