Does anyone know where I can find simple maps online, for teaching directions to esl kids?

I would like an online source. I need simple colourful maps so I can ask questions like ' you are the candy shop, how do you get to the school?'

I have been making the maps on Microsoft word using clip-art for the past few weeks but it's so time consuming and as I'm teaching this lesson type for the next month I need some help.

If you want to show your small child to see popular words that may probably encounter and that are exceptions to standard phonetic principles then the thing you need is here now https://tr.im/CRHnb , Children Learning Reading program.

Children Learning Reading is a phonetic based reading system. Which means it first teaches your child the words of the alphabet and the seems they make. After that it applies this understanding to help your child determine phrases based on the looks the words make. The program was created to train the fundamental "code" for examining initially. Only following it has been learned are conditions, complications, and modifications introduced.

For a simple, step-by-step program that can help your child learn to read visit this site: http://readingprogram.toptips.org/

Learning to read at a young age is important for the development of the child. It helps them develop a better understand of their surroundings, allows them to gather information from printed materials, and provides them with a wonderful source of entertainment when they read stories and rhymes. Children develop at different rates, and some children will develop reading skills quicker than other children; however, what's important is that as the parent, you are keenly aware of your child's maturity and reading level to provide them with appropriate books and activities to help them improve.

As parents, you are the most important teacher for your children.
