~2010~ Austin Jackson [105 games] vs Curtis Granderson [90 games]

    AVG/OBP/SLG

    Jackson- .304/.354/.405

    Granderson- .243/.310/.417

    Jackson- 1 HR, 25 RBI, 30 BB, 120 K, 16/20 (SB)

    Granderson- 10 HR, 34 RBI, 30 BB, 74 K, 10/10 (SB)

    ____

Ok well Granderson hits like 2nd, 7th, 8th and 9th in the yankees lineup, While Jackson is a leadoff hitter. Granderson has an ugly .310 OBP, but Jackson has a 4:1 K:BB ratio, which sucks too. You gotta go with Jackson, besides the strikeouts, nothing else is really that bad. Plus, Granderson sucks vs lefties this year and in his career.

    Granderson vs lefties [AVG]

    2010: .221

    Career: .212

It's kind of early to say. If Jackson hit 20+ homeruns and hits 300 then definitely it was a bad trade, but we have to wait and see. I admit though I wasn't crazy about Granderson when the Yankees got him. I don't really like the guys who can't hit for much of an average because while it is not the best stat to look at in terms of production it tells you that hitters with lower averages are not making pitchers pay for mistakes that should be hammered compared with hitters with a higher average.

Despite the struggles, I say Granderson for now. He has a lot of speed once he is on the bags. Maybe in a year or 2 he will be better than Granderson..

For the future Jackson because he's very young but I sitll think Granderson will be better over the next 2-3 years. Grandson will settle in. He's just been trying too hard this year.

There both great defenders. Both have good arms, but Jackson can cover more ground. Austin Jackson also seems to be a better hitter so far. He uses the whole field better than Granderson. If I had to pick one, I'd pick Jackson.

well the yankees messed up grandersons career because he is not prodcing this year last year he had 30 homeruns alomost 90 RBI and 30 stolen bases.,
