Bill Clinton.
I was a kid when Kennedy was shot, he didn't have a chance.
But Obama is pretty awesome. Especially with the state of the country when he took office. And considering the amount of haters he has to face today.

Reagan was the best president of my lifetime.
I would like to point out the Reagan's and Carter's policies WERE NOT THE SAME. They are not even close as a matter of fact they are just the opposite of each other. Reagan reduced government spending, reduced income and and capital gains marginal tax rates, reduced government regulations, & controlled the money supply to reduce inflation. Carter did the exact opposite from these policies. About the recession, inflation shot up in 79. That was before Reagan was elected, so how in the world could he have caused it. It was so bad that it took him two years to fix it. But have no doubt Carter and his policies were the cause.
Bush has nothing to do with modern terrorism. That honor I do bestow on Reagan. When he pulled out of Lebanon after the marine barracks bombing that let our enemies know that we could be beat with terrorism.
You are right that Clinton's policies led to the housing crises but are incorrect when you say that Bush Jr. pushed the policies even harder. As a matter of fact I remember Bush Jr., McCain, and Cheney addressing congress saying that if the housing market specifically Fannie and Freddy did not get more oversight they would fail. That was in 2001. It was the democrats led by Barney Frank that stopped stricter oversight on the housing market.

Ronald Reagan. Clinton was a good president too but he put NAFTA through which sent a lot of our jobs to other countries.
