Urinary Tract Infection?
I think I have a Urinary Tract Infection....I always feel the need to urinate....and when I have to go...sometimes I can urinate a lot...and sometimes I can only get a little bit out. I can notice a strong odor at times....but...i've also had a problem with my period. I missed one of my BC pills and I took it the next day like it said to with the other one...my period started then after that and was normal for about 5 days. It then went away...and then it started to come back...but only when i seemed to urinate...it was always there...i never noticed it until I had to urinate...i can go all night and most of the morning without any bleeding...and then when I would urinate, It would start up again. Can anyone help me? I don't know what is going on.
oh also...i haven't really experienced any pain yet...or burning when I urinate....i think it is just the start of one though. if it is not a UTI....please....help me figure out what this is...it is very confusing. I have been on my BC pill for about 5 months now...i've never had a problem until i missed that one pill.

Urinary Tract Infections don't always present themselves with classic symptoms such as burning, frequency, or urgency... or even Hematuria (Blood in the urine). Depending on your age, this could be something as benign as a UTI or as serious as a bladder tumor. The best thing to do is to call your Primary Physician and schedule an appointment. Your Dr. may refer you to a Urologist who will be better able to diagnose your symptoms. Either way, especially since you are seeing blood in your urine it is better to get things checked out before it gets worse. Not treating a UTI can cause kidney damage, damage to your bladder and the lining of your bladder and also your urethra. Good Luck!
