What happened to Hyundia?
None of the Hyundia dealers in my area have their dealerships any longer. It seems that all the dealerships have been sold off. Why is this happening?

Perhaps there was a single owner of all the dealerships in your area and he decided to close up shop. Hyundai is not suffering, they are thriving.
And to add to the above comments. You can say all you want, but Hyundai IS a top competitor in the auto market. The vehicles are a good quality vehicle (with the Tiburon as an exception... just my opinion as a Hyundai Technician), and they are quickly rising and projected to replace Honda and Toyota as a household name in the U.S. And by the way, while Hyundai is a Korean company, the Hyundai vehicles you see rolling around here.... they are not made in Korea, they are made in Alabama.
Not only does the Elantra beat out most comparable vehicles in surveys and study's time after time, they are one of the most fuel efficient vehicles around, and the New Sonata is being built with the option of a Hybrid model and a Turbocharged model. I work on Hyundai's day in and day out, and I have seen many come in with 200,000 + miles, a couple with nearly 400,000 miles.
And lets stray from a reliability standpoint and look at Luxury, The Genesis Sedan was the 2009 North American Car of the Year, and When Hyundai releases their flagship model, the Equus, here in the U.S. you are going to see that Hyundai is not only capable of making luxury vehicles, but the Equus has beat out Lexus, Acura, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Cadillac, and many more in survey's and tests.
But hey, keep on making stuff up, it's cool, it's not like anyone believes you, you really don't have any factual information, all your doing is conjuring up mythical "fact" and providing no backing. It's funny really to sit and read your comments. It really gave me a good chuckle to start my day. Thanks kiddo.

Aww man, who reported this .
Landon guy? I love it when trolls get their a$$ kicked.
Anyway, Hyundai may be doing well but individual dealerships may not be. The economy is still in a down turn so some places may be feeling it harder than others.
I know a few years ago Hyundai Corp was weeding out some of the underachieving dealerships. Who knows, maybe some couldn't hang on the way they thought they could.

I'm not sure about your question, but Landon's claims are outlandish.. Hyundai is consistently getting better and has for several years and Consumer Reports and other critics consistently rate them at the top.. on par with Toyota and Honda... btw, Hyundai is the fastest growing automaker in the world.. so try again.
EDIT: Hmm Landon is wrong yet again.
