what is the most accurate & unbias source for political news?

I'm looking to learn more about political issues with the least amount of party spin- does anyone give the 'straight poop'? I need truthful information on both sides of the issue.

I don't know if anything is unbiased, but I believe the Fox News and the Conservatives much more because many of them are honest Christians although the extreme left would have a laugh at that. I hear from Newsmax and Rush, LC, and many others. I do recommend LC (Liberty Counsel) for accuracy and truth, but they are not a news media. They do carry much political news from the Christian viewpoint. See www.LC.org. Also, I recommand RFC (Religious Freedom Coalition) for accuracy and truth from a Christian standpoint. www.rfcnet.org.

Wow - that answer from Marj .. is totally not unbiased!!

She's right tho' that everything comes from some value base.

In the US I would say NPR is the most likely to give you straight information by a mile . On particular topics go to independent not-for-profit organisations that specialise in the area - eg Consumers Union/Consumer Reports for consumer information.

Bear in mind that it is not just one spectrum from 'right' to 'left'. There's an interesting thing called the Political Compass (available on facebook among other things) which you can use to place yourself or other people on a political spectrum from right to left on economic issues and libertarian to restrictive on social issues. It's interesting that based on policies taken into the last election Obama was right of centre, just not as much as McCain!
