The teacher was making the class of first graders recite the English alphabet.

So it came to the turn of a particular child who then felt an urgent need to walk down the hallway to use the restroom.

"Teacher, maam, I need to go to the restroom."

"Not yet. Recite your A-Z first."

"I can't, maam, I really need to go first."

"Recite it first, then you'll go."

"OK .... A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O ... Q R S T U V W X Y Z".

"What happened to your P?" the teacher asked.
