Harper seems to have all the natural tools - but he has to stay healthy in order to maximize his value. In baseball, that is the ultimate test - not talent, but endurance and maturity.

Harper dominated JuCo!!!!!! Big deal. Mike Stanton was a beast in AA Jacksonville against legit talent. It's unfair to compare the two right now, because Harper hasn't played 120+ games in a season against Major League talent. Harper has the drive and said himself "I want to be the best baseball player ever" I just hope he doesn't get caught up in himself, I think the warpaint (eyeblack) is just a little bit of overkill, but he's good for baseball. Good thing is that if these guys stay with their current teams, the NL East rightfielders will be crazy good (throw in my boy Jason Heyward, who will be better than Stanton and Harper). I'll say Harper because I think his ability to play defense will put him over the top.

Harper is so good he didn't even have to finish High school. He dropped out and enrolled in a junior college to play. Stanton has a bright future ahead of him, but I think Harper will be a bit better.

Harper hit nearly .450 in Junior College, in a wooden bat league, while hitting 29 homers. Oh and did I mention, he's only 17? Gotta go with Harper in this one. Nationals look like they could really shape up to be a good team soon.

my guess is harper will still be playing in 20 years considering he is only 17... But i think that in the end they will have fairly comparable careers when it is all over, maybe giving harper a slight edge

That is Very possible but we will have to see Harper play in the Bigs first

There both supposed to be superstars. I say Harper will have a better career.

Harper is a better pure hitter. Doesn't K nearly as much, meaning he'll hit for better AVG. I'd take him.
