I recently purchased a netbook and have had some trouble accessing links on certain web sites and have been unable to log in to certain other sites. I've had no trouble on my desktop and no trouble on a laptop. Is there a compatibility issue with netbooks that I'm not aware of?

no. however most likely you are using a different browser (or version on ie) download and try firefox chrome or opera (if your using ie now, if using one of these try something besides what your currently using) and see if that helps. if other browser will log in then its a problem with whatever your currently using.
