Are there any youth hostels for people over the age of 30 but below 55?

Question

I am looking to travel as much as I am able in the next several years, however most of my travel will probably be by myself more often than not.  I thought a youth hostel would be the perfect answer to travelling solo but not be by my lonseome.  My aunt and uncle belong to an elder hostel, but I wasn't sure if there was something like that available for someone like myself.

Are there age restraints on youth hostels?  Any suggestions for legit and great youth hostels is appreciated as well.  Thanks!

They have hostels all across Europe and some further afield. You can book on line and there is no upper age limit at all. From personal experience I have found them clean and well run with English speaking staff and they can help you find a hostel for your next port of call.

There are no upper age limit for membership of the youth Hostel Association of England and Wales, nor the separate  Scottish Youth Hostel Association. I'm a Life Member and I'm 65 years old. Having a membership of the English YHA allows you to also use Scottish hostels.

replaced into that a rant or a screed? besides, how did the Pew human beings be waiting to discover adequate people who pointed out themselves as "jihad terrorists" to get a huge adequate pattern? i could have neglected it whilst this pollreplaced into printed.
