Substituting All Purpose Flour for Cake Flour?

Hi, since I don't have any All Purpose Flour I was considering using Cake Flour instead. On the recipe it says 1 and 1 half cup of all purpose flour, how much cake flour do I use??

Thanks [:

Update:

It's for cupcakes if it makes a difference.

The general rule of substitution is 1 cup of all purpose flour minus 2 tablespoons (1c – 2tbsp) is equivalent to 1 cup of cake flour.

Take 1 cup of flour with 1/2 cup flour.

It won't work. Unlike cooking baking is an exact science. Substituting ingredients rarely turns out well.
