  • Where was Michelle Obama when three teens went missing in Israel?

Now they've been found dead. If they were African-American would she have been more interested?

  • Need help with mail delivery, any suggestions?

My post office is the worst. Our mail is not being delivered properly; not only am I not getting my mail, but I'm getting my neighbor's mail. I spoke with our postmaster this morning and he assured me he would monitor my mail through my delivery person who I also spoke with. She said she didn't know anything. I am so disgusted. Is there any way to be sure I am getting my mail and not my neighbor's and who can I complain to?

  • How does everyone feel about obama's latest "fix" to the ACA?

After three years and billions of dollars the obamacare website still hasn't been built, including the payment system. Now, because the payment system isn't built or working properly for people trying to enroll in obamacare through the federal exchange, insurance companies will be billing the government for subsidies based on "guesses" of how much the government owes them. Welcome to bailout by guestimation. The administration is planning a “workaround” for payments, said Daniel Durham, vice president for policy and regulatory affairs at America’s Health Insurance Plans. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has not yet finished building the part of the website that would transfer billions of dollars in subsidies for plan premiums and cost-sharing payments to insurance companies. Health plans will estimate how much they are owed, and submit that estimate to the government. Once the system is built, the government and insurers can reconcile the payments made with the plan data to "true up" payments, he said. I wonder how the IRS would like it if we all "guestimated" our taxes and sent that amount?

  • What do you think that despite the shutdown, immigrant advocates launch major rally At The National Mall?

Our veterans who fought for us were turned away, but this regime has open arms for illegal aliens. dvocates for an immigration reform bill are gathered Tuesday afternoon at the National Mall for a rally and march meant to draw attention to their cause. They had vowed to bring together "tens of thousands" of participants, but an actual head count as the event got started was not yet available.

The rally comes as many federal workers are on furlough because of the shutdown, and the National Mall itself is shuttered. But event organizers still planned to go ahead, based on first amendment rights.

The organizers are bringing out heavy oratorical artillery, from the House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, a California Democrat, to veteran congressional champions for immigration reform such as Rep. Luis Gutierrez, a Democrat from Illinois, Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, a Republican from Florida, and Sen. Robert Menendez, a Democrat from New Jersey.

The demonstration, called “Camino Americano: March for Dignity and Respect” began at about noon and continues. It is expected to feature “stories of suffering and strength and demand passage of commonsense immigration reform,” according to the OctoberImmigration.org website, which means they want illegal aliens to become legal citizens so that they can collect welfare. What is this country coming to!

  • Should obama give Putin his Nobel Peace Prize?

After all, Putin did save obama, Congress and the European Union from further embarrassing themselves on Syria and stopped the death of any innocents who might have been collateral damage.

  • I am in violation and there is no link to appeal, what do you think?

I received a violation notice and there is no link in the notice for me to appeal. You be the judge, should my answer have been removed:

Question: Which side do you think Obama will take in Egypt's civil war?

Deleted Answer: Give him a chance, right now he's got his finger in his mouth and when he pulls it out he will put it above his head and see which way the wind is blowing.

Violation Reason: Misuse of the question and answer format

  • What do you think of obama spending $100 million of our money on his vacation to Africa?

"Let them eat cake" is the traditional translation of the French phrase "Qu'ils mangent de la brioche", supposedly spoken by "a great princess" upon learning that the peasants had no bread. Since brioche was enriched with butter and eggs, as opposed to ordinary bread, the quote supposedly would reflect the princess's obliviousness as to the condition of the people. Does this sound familiar?

  • Do you agree that the term "illegal immigrant" should be changed to?

"undocumented democrat" as Jay Leno suggested. Leno, who himself is a liberal, was referring to the notion that democrats deep down view amnesty or the equivalent regardless of the details in any final legislation merely as a political mechanism to swell the voter rolls with presumed new supporters for their party.

  • What do you think of obama's military spending cuts?

causing troops in Afghanistan not to get a hot breakfast while he gives jets and tanks to our enemies in Egypt and continues giving benefits to illegal aliens and their children through his executive order "dream act."

  • For those who voted for this president, what do you think when?

the US is on the brink of going over the fiscal cliff, victims of Hurricane Sandy are without homes and are getting no help from FEMA, their homes are being torn down without their knowledge, more and more people are unemployed and without trying to fix the problem Barry plans a three-week vacation to Hawaii. Do not give the knee jerk reaction that Republicans are not considering his policies because even the Democrats do not like his plans. He wants free rein over spending, which is like giving a kid the keys to a candy store, that would be a disaster. So now we are saddled with this campaigner in chief, we heading for that fiscal cliff and he goes on yet again another vacation. Are you happy that you voted for him and if so, WHY?

  • Does everyone miss having the opportunity to give a thumbs down on answers you don't like?

There are so many insipid answers and I liked being able to express my dissatisfaction by giving a thumbs down, but the powers that be on this site have decided, much like schools have decided, that all answers are worthwhile and no one should be criticized for their stupidity. It's a very liberal attitude and in keeping with the view of Yahoo wouldn't you agree?

  • What do you think of obamacare $20 million PR campaign?

A new $20 million Obamacare public relations campaign to simply tell Americans to stay healthy is coming under heavy GOP fire as a propaganda effort to prop up the embattled health reform law and the president.

“I’m calling on the president to cancel this contract,” said Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo. “The American public want real solutions to problems of health care--not more press releases and propaganda paid for with their taxpayer dollars,” added the medical doctor who chairs the Senate Republican Policy Committee.

Ohio Sen. Rob Portman added, “There is no justification for wasting $20 million in taxpayer dollars on an advertising blitz for the president’s health care spending law.” The A-list GOP vice presidential possibility added, “With Washington nearly $16 trillion dollars in debt, the American taxpayers should not be asked to fund ad campaigns defending a law that only deepens the spending hole we’re in.”

The $20 million effort--more than 10 times previous efforts to promote Obama care--will publicize elements Obamacare that encourage Americans to stay healthy. Past efforts have included a $1 million program to send out 4 million postcards promoting a tax cut in the health plan and a $700,000 ad narrated by Andy Griffith.

  • What do you think of HR347 that Obama signed into law in March?

This is a new law signed by Obama in early March 2012 which makes it illegal to protest in his presence or in any politician's presence. Regardless of where you stand politically, this is very scary. The law means that wherever Obama or any politician is you do not have a right to ask him/them anything you want to. His secret service can have you arrested, fined and imprisoned for more than a YEAR if you ask him something he or a politician doesn't like or doesn't want to answer.

  • Occupy Wall Streeters, does Harrison Schultz represent you?

Do you follow his beliefs? Recently in an interview with Sean Hannity he said that the NYPD sent agents to Occupy to rape and pillage. He likes big business, but contradicts himself saying capitalism is a failure; big business is capitalism. Daycare, healthcare, dental, education, a home, car, etc. should all be free! Hannity told him to get a job whether its being a cook or a laborer of some kind. This was the true indicator of the attitude of Occupy when Schultz responded in an insulting manner that he would not settle for a menial job. He thinks that after graduating from college, which he wants to be a free , he will get a six-figure job even though he has no experience. Does this person, who was a poor representative for OWS with a very erratic and delusional way of thinking, represent you?

  • Does anyone have an answer to the insufferable telephone calls made by computers?

asking if interest rates are too high and having to press 1 to speak with a rep and 2 not to be taken off their call list. I have pressed 2, I have told the rep that my credit card balance is $40,000 on 30 different credit cards and was cursed at by one of the reps and hung up on (hmmm, interesting that) and have also reported the various numbers on the No Call website complaint area, but to no avail, they just keep calling and I am totally fed up. Does anyone have any suggestions for dealing with these annoying calls.

  • Do liberals get away with murder on Yahoo Answers because conservatives do not cry and whine as much?

It seems as though lots of question are deleted if uncomplimentary to liberals, democrats or the present administration. Do you think it's because those who elminate questions are biased towards the cowardly, name calling, crying and whining liberals than they are to the informed, intelligent conservatives or independents who might ask questions?

  • Can anyone compare the new Weight Watchrs program to the old program?

I understand that with the new Weight Watchers plan more points are allowed, but most foods have a higher point value, and fruits are not counted. A friend is on it, but I wonder if it works as well as the older plan where fruits did have a point value and carbohydrates had a lower point value. Can anyone compare the two, I'd appreciate it. Thank you.
