What do you think of obama spending $100 million of our money on his vacation to Africa?

Inappropriate for an ineffective, divisive, incompetent dishonest president but perfectly acceptable for a wannabe dictator. He wants to be Emperor and he acts like it! He doesn't want to be a mere mortal president as evidenced by him being the Golfing Candidate in Chief-he never left campaign mode...

"Obama’s severe priced holiday, the price of that's in accordance to previous presidential journeys to Africa" IF we use your good judgment that that's outrageous I wager you've been incredibly disillusioned about the 7 journeys the Bush kin kin took to Africa jointly with both safari's Laura and the twins took all throughout the time of Bush's second time period on my own!. Laura must have chanced on some thing she loved over there I advise heck she took 5 journeys over there such as her husband alongside.

I don't like Obama or any politcian, but the only tax money being spent by Obama on vacation is the security costs. Each "President" is paid 250,000 dollars pay + 50,000 a year he can do with as he wishes. He does, however, have other monies from other business that he has no doubt transacted.

His vacation costs must come out of that 50,000 dollars ( or other monies he has, but not taxes.) His security, however, does cost us, but he'd have security with him whether on vacation or not.

I don't recognize Obama as President at all. The people never chose him, the corrupt, bought and paid for electorate did. Nevertheless, I hold the "office" of "President" as sacred.

Second, do you really expect him to go on diplomatic tours without his security? Did Bush or Clinton go without it? That is the major cost of either a diplomatic tour or a vacation. Shall we lock the First Family in the White House for 8 years and never let them take a vacation?

The background information on the "Let them eat cake" is a little misinformed.

The French law at the time was that when baker ran out of bread, they were required to sell bioche for the same price as bread. If there were complaints that people were out of bread, saying that they could just eat bioche would be a reasonable response.

Also, be careful not to assume that this "great princess" was Marie Antoinette. She was not a callous leader and was rather giving and caring with regards to the peasants (in comparison to other royals of the era).

If A person could only pay 400-500 to go on a private plain to Africa, Why does obama have to pay a 100 million? It should be free for obama because he is certainly the president right? How did he get a 100 million, he doesn't even get paid a million a year. only the salary of 400 thousand or 300 thousand. Somewhere around that.
