With the cost being $12,028 to educate each illegal child, how can we afford this?
As parents, do you think it is fair how illegals are taking from our children's education?
Shouldn't this money be put to better education for OUR children?
Since these children are illegal, isn't this a slap in the face to American children who are having classes taken away because these schools are educating illegals?
Why should illegals be allowed to receive any education in this country?
If we stopped educating their children, would that stop some of them from coming?

The U.S. Census Bureau just released 2008 figures showing the national average total per-pupil funding from all revenue sources was $12,028. Although estimates of the number of school-age children of illegal immigrants don’t separate those attending public vs. private schools, it’s reasonable to assume that nearly all attend public schools since most come from lower-income families. Therefore, if one multiplies $12,028 by the roughly 3.7 million students with illegal-immigrant parents, then one gets a national total funding cost of $44.5 billion.

notwithstanding take place to human rights, in case you supply up and picture approximately we furnish illegals extra rights the country they left. They supporters could desire to be asking Mexico this question. Why could desire to the mummy and dad detrimental existence judgements making could desire to alter into my concern and use of my tax money. they have a human maximum suitable to have youngsters, yet there is likewise a ethical criminal accountability for the parent to start up information, this usa is broke, we owe trillions, hundreds of thousands of human beings have lost each and everything they have worked all their lives for. I for one prefer to nicely known, if the illegals are having problems in simple terms helping themselves, the place do they arise with the assumption , that their parenting problems are actually usa's concern. The family individuals through earnings themes do turn to public counsel and that they are draining the gadget and sooner or later it is not there anymore.Illegals are coming right here via the masses of thousands , having youngsters they can not help and it turns into extra of a burden to us and their answer is enable their problems substitute into usa's problems. i come across the mummy and dad positioned their infants into those circumstances on purpose .. They get unfastened breakfasts/lunches/ unfastened college components/ unfastened medical coverage with the aid of Medicaid and the mummy and dad count on those communities to furnish for their youngsters for the subsequent 18 years and then prefer to strengthen it to comprise a unfastened college education.Their on the grounds that of entitlement is making this usa burst aside

If illegal, do you mean as in illegitimate child with no parents, or as in illegal aliens?
For me, I am even wondering why is the government giving education to the illegals when they are supposed to be deported, no offence to anyone.

i think they should stop allowing illegal kids from attending our schools because it's taking from our kids education. here at los angeles usd children are getting less educated. classes have went from max of 32 students to 40 students, summer school went from 7wks to 4wks, short of books, etc (district going broke).
it's good for all kids to attend school but if it but affect kids are education they shouldn't be allowed to attend.

I see you have been reading the Opinion sections again.
Look, we have over 400 million people living in USA. Spread that over 50 states and you have approximately 8 million per state. Now divide your persons opinion statement by 50 states and that gives you 74,000 students per state. (If we are dividing equally, but we know many states such as Texas, California, and New York will have 3 times as many people and area than any other state so their student ratio would be higher and concentrated to larger cities).
Now, divide 8 million by approximately 150 counties in one state. (NC has 100 and Texas has 254) that would only equal out to approximately 53,333 people per county. Now, use the 74,000 and divide it by 150 and that would be approximately 493 kids per county that are "possibly illegal" and more than likely that 80% of the 493 were natural born citizens ( not disputing the 14th amendment here just running the numbers). Also, dividing that to approximately 2.2 kids per household that would make 224 families living within that district with also approximately 90% are working legal jobs that take out taxes that they do not file at the end of the year for a refund with 10% working under the table. Predominantly, they are paying their fair share for the expenses to educate their children as well as ours and also keeping many cities afloat by spending a large portion of their income in the local economic market.
Just remember, if you did this math in reverse, it would make the numbers look, to the average person, grandiose, but when you break it down to where the numbers are more personal per each person in each city and county, you will notice that it is not as severe as many would like it to sound.
Edit: Also, think about it like this too................
On the average there are over3.7 million generational welfare, social security, and dissability recipients that do not pay, have not paid, or pay very little in federal taxes. Some their whole life. There are about 2.4 million AMERICANS currently not paying into the system either. Predominantly working "under the table". There are about 850,000 AMERICANS that owe taxes or are currently under investigation for tax evasion.
That out weighs the 3.7 million children currently in public schools.
Edit: Only 7 thumbs down? Come on, I was hoping for more. I was sure those who don't like the truth or facts would.

No education for these children would be completely unfair.Did these children chose to come/stay here illegaly ? No.Plus,no education would equal more crimes.

Pro-amnesty and moronic open border advocates are not aware of the costs of having illegal aliens being in our country. They bankrupt our hospitals, schools, and many don't even respect the law. In Austin the illegals get arrested more than citizens for DUI. I mean we don't even enforce our laws. This is why I support states should have the final say on immigration not the federal govt. Feds are corrupt and want the illegals here. Don't trust the democrats or republicans either. Democrats want extra votes and republicans want cheap labor.

If they are illegal, they shouldn't be here in the first place.
BUT, many illegal parents with school-age children have phony SS numbers, so they are "on the books" where they work. This means that they are paying taxes. I'm sure there are some illegals who are scamming the system, but many don't.

If the children are born here, they are not illegal. Nothing is being taken away from anyone.
The reasoning behind those calculations are wrong.
