Rebond underlayment 7/16" on a slab floor, when walked on hearing a squeaking noise like bubble wrap. Why is t?
There are also hard spots through out the entire floor, Being on a slab floor I realize now that it should be 7lb and not6lb.

if it is squeaking i'll bet there is moisture come up from the slab ..and rebond allways has had soft and hard spots ..and yes u should have gotten the 5/8s
