Can I play my xbox 360 on my laptop?

I have a HDMI port on my computer, and a HDMI port on my laptop, now if I get a HDMI cord and plug both ends into the ports, this should allow me to use my laptop screen to play my xbox? The theory seems right, but is it that simple?

Yes and no. The HDMI cable is in/out for data transfer, however you are going to need a video decoder most likely to decode the signal so you might need a tv tuner card.

Yep. With the technology today, a simple computer monitor can act as a display screen for almost any of the new gaming systems.
