OK - so I am not normally the type of girl to ask a question like this on here ....?

But there is this friend that I want more than friendship with.  He expressed interest a few weeks ago, but I kind of denied him because I thought he was only looking for a friend with "benefits".  

I am pretty shy about being direct with someone about my feelings (afraid of the rejection) - does anyone have any mature (not teenage "Get a friend to ask him") ideas on how I can suss out his feelings for me?

Sweetie, 

No one likes risk or rejection however, the results of loving anyone will always be pain at some point so it is time to face reality and go have a real face to face talk about what you want.

"Honey, you are so special to me I fell i need to clarify where we are at together and where I want our relationship to go nad to be.  You took a risk and expressed an interest in me and sort of turned you down for fear you wanted only to be friends with benefits and I care about you too much to have you that way, but if you want more than that, I wanted to tell you in would be interested too."

if you ask him all he will do is suger coat what you really want to hear.. dont be his dog and find someone that will treat you the way you should be treated and having a future with.. ive been there done that hun!

what made u feel he was only lookin' for a ''friend w benefits''?

If u r still wonderin' what his intentions really are....test them
--ask him if he wants sex with no strings attached, then wait for his answer

talk to him thats all ---- if he is interested he will keep it going and maybe even ask for your number ---- if he is not interested you will know it very quickly
