How do I get a disc out of a broken PS3?
I just had the "flashing red light of death" on my 60GB PS3 while I was in the middle of game of GTA 4 last night. It still is broken and doesn't seem like it's going to be fixed any time soon. I'd atleast like to get my disc out so I don't have to spend even more money on another copy of GTA4. Is there anyway to get it out?
The ps3 only stays on for 2 seconds until the red light starts flashing. There isn't enough time for it to spit the disc out.
I tried holding the button and all that stuff. Didn't work.

Ok, you hold the eject button, then you turn the power off in the back, keep holding eject, and flip the switch on, the fan test will happen, and you will get your game. If you want to fix your YLOD, send the PS3 back to Sony, if you have warranty. If you don't, follow gilky1's PS3 repair videos on YouTube. I did it and I'm playing my PS3 now happily.

What the guy said above will work.
BUT be careful with Youtube fixes. You can screw something up very easily. Fixing it yourself is the best way but ONLY if you have the right guide.
Take a look at this one: http://www.ps3repair.net/fixyourps3
