If you had a neighbor who told you he was a Christian, got married in a Christian church?

was a member of a Christian church for over 20 years and had his children baptized as Christians, would you assume he was a Muslim?

Of course NOT! A Muslim would never pray to Jesus Christ. Muslims believe Jesus was only a prophet. All these allegations are being made to distract us from the real agenda, and that agenda is some people don't want President Obama to succeed in anything and to fail at everything. I say, if President Obama truly relies on his faith in Christ, that NO weapon formed against him shall prosper. If he is lying about his faith, then time will reveal. Other than that we have a country in great need of repair.

No. But wait, how can Obama be a terrorist Muslim AT THE SAME TIME that he gets bashed for attending Jeremiah Wright's Christian sermons for decades?

Can't conservatives keep their B.S. stories straight? Either he's a bad Christian for attending all those sermons OR he's a Muslim educated in the dark arts of terrorism....OR he's a secular Stalinist/Marxist/Communist/Socialist.

Or maybe this is like everything else that conservatives talk about...they desperately need to have things both ways to mindlessly repeat rumors with so much smugness.

No, I don't assume that said neighbor is a Muslim. However, he is not a Christian. Anyone that could sit through even 1 of the so-called "reverend" Jeremiah Wright's sermons is just a hate-filled person and not a real Christian. Anyone can claim to be a Christian, but stuff like that is a clear indicator that something is fishy.

It sounds to me like you are attending the wrong kind of church. Yes alot of churches are very legalistic, but if you are doing everything you can and seeking God and your husband refuses to get help. You have two choices you can either pray for him and stay and continue to get beat. or you can leave him. A marriage doesn't work if both people are not willing to work at it. Pray about this situation and do what you feel God would want you to do, and by the way not all churches are this Legalistic, don't give up on God because of this. Try an assemblies of God church.

No but I would wonder why I give a **** as to who someone chooses to acknowlege as their God (btw Muslims and Christians worship the same God. Do the research) when a whole bunch of other neighbours of varying religious denominations play loud music well into the night, sell drugs - bringing disrepute into the neighbourhood, and basically run roughshod over the community with no regard at all.

Seriously, stop watching T.V. and the crap they're pumping into you, because the human answer is who freaking cares?

LOL, that is so, so funny. I was following along & then BAM. Uh, No, I wouldn't assume he was Muslim but hey, I am a liberal democrat. I don't fall into the foxhole so my thinking is different than some others.

Only if he was first raised Muslim and consistently sided with Muslims and assigned NASA not to get to Mars but to outreach to Muslims. Then I might think he was in the closet after all in Islam it fine to lie to infidels because Allah hates them anyway.

Oh and did you know that the Reverend of that church of his is himself a"former" Muslim?

No, I would assume he was a Christian.

Obama is a Christian. Maybe he is one of those who doesn't stereotype all Muslims as terrorists.

If said "Christian" went on to host a Ramadan dinner, say that the Islam call to prayer is the most "beautiful sound" in the world, supports the building of a hamasque 2 blocks from ground zero, then yes, I would assume he converted from Christianity to Islam.

Would you say that since he was in that Christian church listening to a racist preacher for 20 years he NEVER heard the pastor say anything racist?
