Any help getting my mom to quit smoking?
My mom is a heavy smoker and shes putting all of our lives in danger. Ive tried to help, she used the patches, and nothing has worked. I don't want to loose my mom and Im only 12. Please? its up to a pack and a half a day. Help?

Was she a smoker when she got pregnant with you? If so, she quit for those 9 months, which means she CAN do it! Remind her that when she smokes, you are smoking a quarter of that cigarette. It's a medical fact.
Have her quit cold turkey! The first 2-3 days will be unpleasant, but it's not that big of a deal. Tell her that that's what you want for your birthday, or an early Xmas present. Tell her that's the biggest worry in your life. Every day you worry about her. Tell her.
Something there has to work!
