Need to Check Math Questions! Fast! Thanks! Odd and Even Functions?

Can You just check these make sure that I did these right.

f(x)= x^2 - 3x is neither an odd or even fuction

f(x)= x^3 - 5x is and odd function

f(x)= -1/2x^2 is an even function.

If I got any wrong, can you just tell me why and work it out for me?

even functions have a leading exponent that is an even number, while odd functions have an odd exponent leading.

the first one is even, because it is an x². it graphs as a parabola, and both ends go in the same direction (another indication of an even function).

    the next two are correct.

    that's it! ;)
