Hi. Since u hook it up on your router, you need an IP address so that it will work.

    Here's what u will do:

Go to Start menu, contrl panel, Network and internet connections, Network connection, You will see local area connection with a pc icon, right click it, choose properties, You will see Internet Protocol, Highlight it, click properties below it, then make sure u choose, obtain and IP address and obtain DNS server, click ok and ok. thats it. You will then get a connection.

Good luck! Just follow what I told you,

Google and find the answer that fits your problem. You didn't provide enough details for anyone to accurately tell you exactly what the problem is. Someone could list several things for you to check, but I'm not going to waste my time with that. Do a search on google.

One good starting point is to make sure your ethernet is enabled.

If it's a Windows computer, make sure it has an Ethernet driver running. (How you do that depends on the version of Windows). It could also be that the Ethernet card is bad. (Most Windows computers have the default setup, so they'll just connect.)
