SAAB exterior above door little hidden flap? help if you own a saab!!?
hi, i just noticed on my 2003 saab 9-3 that on the black strip that runs on both sides of the car directly above all 4 doors is 4 small hidden flaps. they have a little slit in them so you can lift it up with your nail. its on hinges and opens and closes easily. on the inside of the flap is a peice of foam that when closed covers a small raised metal hole. i was wondering if anybody knew what this was for.. and if you own a saab 9-3 (maybe its even on the 9-5 too?) check it out.. and if you know what it is plz tell me!

Its for a roof rack. Those are the mounting locations. There are all kinds of racks you can buy (bicycle, skis, snowboard, etc). Remove the little caps and that is where the rack mounts to the roof. Chekc out Thule or Yakima for racks, if interested.
