    I think its pretty plus you can use Mae/May as a nick name which is gorgeous. I like Maelina too pronounced May-leena

    all of these names would get picked on as soon as they got into school...obviously you like the sound of mae, so why not go with may? it a great name that people love, and no one would make fun of it.
