weight loss weight loss, WEIGHT LOSS!!!!?

hey guys

im 17 years old , 5ft 4 or 5 and i weigh around 14-15 stone ( NOT GOOD)

i want to lose weight so bad so i have decided to go gym everyday and eat less , plus drink lots of water. i dont want to go to gym with a friend because i believe you can only depend on your self . so if my friend cant go i feel like i will lose the motivation to go . but i feel so lazy lol i have not exercised for a long time could this be why? and will my plan to go to the gym everyday for an hour 1 or 2 work? i want to lose about 3 or 4 stone at least

    Hi! I'm glad you are determined to lose weight, good job! Determination is half the success :)

    Now, I have the same problem as you few years back.

    The first thing you should know : DO NOT GO ON A DIET

    It does not work! It'll only make you gain more weight. Trust me, it's proven all over the world

    Number two: BE CAREFUL OF WHAT YOU EAT

    Foods that are high in sugar or fats should not be taken at all!

    examples: fast food, chips, sweets, canned drinks.

    Take food which only belong to the Bread, Cereal group, Vegetable group, and Fruits group

    Meat eggs and milk yoghurt group can be taken, but not all the time. Probably 4 times a week.

    DO NOT TAKE OIL SWEET GROUP! NO WAY!

    Number three: EAT LESS, EAT MORE TIMES

    you can eat up to 5-6 meals a day, BUT each meal is a small amount.

    Eat less in quantity, more in frequency. This is very very effective.

    Number four: NEVER EVER TOUCH SLIMMING PILLS

    this pills are very very damaging to your health, please do not take them!

    Number five: TAKE FOOD WHICH HELPS LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE & CHOLESTEROL

    a good food that helps you lower your BP is GRREN APPLE JUICE

    but remember, do not take in large amounts on a regular basis, it can cause dizziness.

    take about 3 times a week, a cup full will do.

    Number five: DO NOT EAT 3 HOURS BEFORE YOU SLEEP

    this is a BIG NO NO. your body is not capable of processing your food properly while you are asleep. they will turn into fats.

    Number six: EXERCISE

    exercise at least 4 times a week, at least 60 minutes per time

    instead of spending money on useless slimming pills, you can hire a personal trainer to set your exercising schedule and monitor you.

    Number seven: BE DETERMINED

    BE DETERMINED! do not cave into temptation when you see fast food, chips, cookies, sweets, etc etc. Do not touch them! Always persevere to the end!

    Number eight: SUPPORT FROM FAMILIES & FRIENDS

    Psychology plays a big part too. You'll be more efficient with moral support from friends or families. You'll be motivated to do better :)

    Stick to the eight steps strictly and you'll notice results in no time, lady :)

    Remember, determination is half the success! You've already succeed half-way! Do not give up and keep on persevere till the end :)

    If only I knew what a stone was (lol). If you increase your exercise and eat healthy foods (it's not always about reducing the amount of food you eat), you will start seeing changes within six weeks. Yes, six weeks! Changes don't happen over night, so always give a healthy exercise program a minimum of six weeks before you see changes. I'd plan on forty-five minutes at the gym, not 1-2 hours. That should be all you need. And be sure to "reward" your good behavior. Good luck! You have a long life ahead of you, so treat yourself well!

    I like your reason for not bringing a friend. If you go an hour or 2 nightly you will no doubt fail. Start off very small. Remember something is better than nothing. I would start off by running a mile or riding the elliptical for a mile. Trust me that's all you need, as long as your living healthy. Stay away from all pop, just drink water and skim milk. Count the calories, stay at or just a bit under your recommended daily calories.
