That would give credibility to the moderate Muslims. As it is now, every Muslim is suspect since none speak out against radicals.

Yes and mainstream Christianity and Judaism should do the same.

Edit: Christians are burning down Buddhist Temples in South Korea, two Christian (Baptist) Terrorist armies are committing acts of mass murder, rape, torture and gunpoint conversions in India. The Christian `Lord`s Resistance Army` is doing much the same thing in Uganda and other parts of Africa with it`s boy-child soldiers that are forced to rape their victims.

Add to that the numerous Christian Terrorist organisations that exist around the world, predominately in the USA. One group was thrown out of Israel not so long ago for threatening to blow up holy sites.

So I completely fail to see how Christians are any more peaceful than any other religio-political group with an agenda.

I think everyone knows about Zionist Jews and the terror and outrage that they have caused in Israel and Palestine with their hatred for and the persecution and virtual genocide of the indigenous population.

Ask yourself who funds these people, my guess is that it is the devout religious followers that have no idea about how their donations are spent and imagine that their donations are going to `good causes`.

It was basically US Christians that funded the IRA and that organisation used it`s money to train many other terror groups around the world, from ETA to FARC.

Religion is dangerous and spreads it`s hatred around the world to the detriment of all but it`s rich and powerful masters.

It`s time that we all started to see what is happening and not just relying on what our own biased media is telling us.

I think mainstream Islam is being held accountable, how else do you explain the 'mosque at ground zero which really isn't at ground zero' controversy. People are angry with Islamics and it is boiling over. I also agree with the other answer that it should be everyone. Everyone against intolerance, extremism, and anger.

I'm not going to go into the whole media thing about the media having an agenda and that mainstream muslims don't fit it because I know what a waste of effort that is.
