Fluoride is the single most reactive element known. If you have contamination in your water Fluoride will bond with it.

This can be a very good thing. For one thing smallish bits of biology are averse to Fluoride, so even if a disease process is not killed outright by the presence of fluoride sufficient numbers of similar organisms will likely be "attenuated" and thus provoke a harmless reaction in your body (immune cells).

For another thing chemical warfare happens. And Fluoride in the water can help with this, if not eliminate many threats.

If you want no fluoride, fluoride is chemically similar to Chlorine. Both are a gas at room temperature and pressure but dissolve easily in water. At higher temperatures this gas will leave the water, so differential distillation should work to get rid of the stuff. Vent to the outside, or the gas will recombine with something (likely the water you just 'purified').

To get rid of all the Fluoride, you might have to go one step further and break the water down, filter and recombine it.

Or you could simply buy a commercially available filter for drinking water.

I've lived in one of the few places (Ocotillo Wells, CA) where there is sufficient fluoride in the water that the state health dept posts a notice by the taps. The net effect of this fluoride is that kids who grow up there get stains on their teeth, and the local rate of tooth decay is very low.

Most places don't have meaningful levels of fluoride in the water.

I'd find a better crusade.

Obama has nothing to do with fluoridation of drinking water. That has been done since the fifties by most local water departments to help cut back the rate of tooth decay. The American Dental Association has encouraged this practice for over 60 years.

Get Berkey or Crystal Quest water filters to remove fluoride.

You can download a .pdf to print off saying "there is poison in the tapwater."

Print out thousands and post them in several public places as your laws will allow. Talk to people about the problem. Write a letter, send a petition, whatever it takes. Take action.

no matter how loud you toot your horn, they are not going to remove the fluoride,hormones pesticides from the water. Just gonna get worse.

It might. People can be persuaded to vote against anything if they are given only one side of the argument.
