Employers will hire people when they need to and when they can afford to, and that's a fact.

I am willing to blame the Republicans for almost anything but this might be too much. Hiring will start when the businesses feel confident that enlarging the work force will pay off.

Do you believe everything you hear?
Republicans will hire those who are qualified for the job, and who are willing to do the job (well).
....Right now, business owners are very concerned about the policies of this administration. Our leaders do not understand that in order for a business to continue, it has to make a profit.
The current admin...believes that profit is evil...and that people should be happy to work for nothing.
That isn't true.

That is foolish gossip and nothing short of ignorance.
Bottom line businesses will hire employees when they need them. They are not going to hire them on speculation of anything. If they've got more demand then they can handle they will hire help. It doesn't matter who's in office.
The only thing that does effect jobs is that when very liberal/democrats take control. Companies that can start to out source labor in anticipation of higher labor costs.

This is a false statement.
The Republicans have no knowledge of economics, why recessions occur nor what to do about them. None of them apparently have taken economics or have forgotten it - like Dick Army, who used to teach it.
Because they can point to nothing in Obama's policies that are hurtful to most businesses - they have invented an idea that people are scared of Obama's future policies, and thus do not spend today.
It is a completely unfounded idea - by unfounded I mean they offer to evidence, proof or fact to back up this idea. Sound familiar?
It is easy to disprove - the post war top rate was 92% - it was arguably the most productive period in economic history. Clinton raised taxes and there followed many years of economic growth. Reagan did indeed cut taxes to get us out of his recession, but he raised the payroll tax, so the entire effect was confusing and 'uncertain', yet the economy came back out of recession as it usually does.

Would you hire anyone if you have a threat of increased taxes? I know I wouldn't. But how about a couple of RELIABLE links for us to see.

Actually this one I know personally about. After the elections in December of 2008 Republican functionaries here in Montana were going around to the small and medium businesses here and telling them to fire or lay off their workers. They have gone around to small business owners I know personally 5 times since then telling them NOT to hire workers back or bring them back off lay-off. I know at least two have told them to shove it and 1 who is going along with this political-economic extortion.
I was sitting in the back room next to the office of a friend of mine when I personally over heard him being threatened if he did not go along with this political-economic extortion.

So we do live in a corporate fascist state after all! How many jobs did they eliminate in Bush's final 18 months? Can you say 5.1 million?
