do we have pride in our own family?
it seems that my family got scattered after 20 years of hell caused by my mother. She is a bit delirious, and taking things way too seriously when trying to calmly talk to her. it felts like there is no pride, but do we have pride for your family?

Having pride in your family can mean many things.
Aside from your mother, is everyone else normal? Are they all accomplishing their goals or at least striving for them? Are they raising their families to love one another? Do they have an open mind when asked to help with a problem?
I have two boys that were in the Navy. I have a tremendous amount of pride in them because they did something I couldn't. Neither of them is working right now but that doesn't diminish my pride in them.
Another son is a mechanic. I have a lot of pride in him because of what he has learned on his own over the years. He is good at what he does.
Having pride in your family as a whole depends in part on what they do as a whole. Scattered or not, if you all keep in touch then you have nothing to worry about.
