Funny how easily the dems forget how critical they were of Bush. But try to tell them that & you're racist. We say, no, it's the policies. They still say we're racist. Black people oppose obama also? They just hate their own race. WTF is wrong with this country??

Don't let them lie to you. I've SEEN THEM on here say it was racist, and use the Hitler association as a sign of racism. They've done it in other arenas too. They might say that their own accusations of racism aren't based off this, but at least some of them have flatly said the Obama=Hitler signs are racist.

I am not addressing those Dems like TonalC and the others who said the signs aren't racist. If you say they're unwarranted or retarded, that's fair. Especially if you apply that to both sides and thought the Bu$Hitler signs were embarrassing too. I'm more concerned about those who insinuate that no one is saying that. We sat through 8 years of Bush being associated with Hitler, and the link you posted is not REMOTELY the first time I've seen that. My God, they even call Jews(Jonah Goldberg) and Israel Nazis. What a kick in the stones, eh?? We also saw signs depicting Bush as a monkey. And many others. So that was a guarantee the Left would be subjected to the same thing. I can't imagine anyone naive or newbie enough to forget about the Bu$Hitler stuff that went on for a decade, but then act surprised when it's done to Obama. I always think "Did you start paying attention to politics last WEEK??? Did you even VOTE in 2008!!?". It's fine, we were all newbies once. But have the stones to admit it, right?

The signs about Obama may be excessive in their comparison, they may even be stupid. But they're not racist, period. And there's little reason to expect the comparisons to stop, given the amount of Bu$Hitler signs we saw for nearly a decade. I am against Obama's policies as much as anyone and I truly believe that he is taking us down a path that is clearly not in the best of the country.

I am truly offended by anyone being compared to Hitler but do not agree that it is racist. It seems that anything critical of Obama is labeled as racist when it is possible for a person that is white to be critical of a person of color and simply be critical of the person.

I have seen many illustrations of Bush comparing him to Hitler and I am sure that those were not considered as racist.

The reason most people that are anti-Obama policy are white is because almost 98% of blacks feel that he can do no wrong so obviously most protesters are white.
