Why would an older white man marry a woman his age when he can marry a much younger non-white woman?

Probably because he wants a partner and someone of his own maturity level, more likely to have common interests, and someone who is on the same page in life as he is...versus someone who could be his daughter...

People date/marry people they are attracted to and plenty of middle-aged men and women don't go for the much younger crowd...and plenty of the young ones don't care to date someone old enough to be their parent...

Sorry but I'm getting into my middle 30's and have no kids or baggage & never intend to! You seem very immature & obviously need someone younger than you who has your immature mental status. Some men are like what you described & go for the younger girls-but other men may like the more mature women instead of a child. It's not like 50 year old men aren't wrinkled & have no baggage either!

I was 38 when I married a 25-year-old. The sex was truly fantastic, especially in the beginning, but then the generation-gap manifested itself. I was an adult and she was still very much a selfish, high-maintenance girl. It didn't last long.

Your analogy of comparing an 18-year-old to a new car is incorrect. An 18-year-old is more like a car that is still being assembled and you don't know what the finished product is going to be like. Could be good or it could be bad.

That man made the right choice in choosing a woman his own age because they will be thinking more alike about many things. Older women are not 'used cars' & quite a number have active sex lives.

sadly your not to fall of the trend of dating as much as I hate to say it. Men majority date women several years younger than them. Which is nothing wrong with it but to me their some limitations when your dating some one 20 plus years younger.

younger may not also be the best : they dont know what they are doing when it comes to having sex.

they may not have extra baggage but they usally dont know how to clean, cook or love there man either.
