Who grants permission for Muslim-friendly building projects?
I'm planning to build a deck. I like to have friends over from time to time, so Muslims may occasionally sit on my deck. It's my property, and local ordinances are cool with it.
But it just occurred to me: my Muslim-friendly deck may offend some people, particularly service members who lost loved ones in 9/11. I certainly don't want to hurt anybody's feelings. To whom should I write in order to get permission?
Is there an organization for granting permission to Muslim-friendly building projects, say, the Friends and Family of 9/11 Victims who Love Religious Freedom but Aren't Too Fond of Muslims?

The only association all these pinheads seem to have in common is Faux News. Start there.

" the Friends and Family of 9/11 Victims who Love Religious Freedom but Aren't Too Fond of Muslims?"
LoL. You seem to be under the impression that opposition (for anyone who is against the NYC Islamic Community Center with the Mosque in it) is because we aren't too fond of Muslims.
I have Muslim friends I adore. I have neighbors who are Muslims as well I get along perfectly.
However I don't agree with what is planned (for various reasons, religion NOT being one of them)
PS: What I'm actually glad for at this point, is that IRS is going to be looking deeply at the paper trails on where the money actually came from. You know, being that the developer was actually a waiter a couple of years ago and paid cash...makes you wonder. I've never seen a NY restaurant paying that much. Must have made GREAT tips

You have stopped thinking, sweetie.
Al Qaeda is no more the voice of Islam that the Ku Klux Klan was the voice of Christianity.
The Klan murdered, burned and dragged people to their deaths, all the while doing so, "In the Name of Our Lord, Jesus". The burned crosses in the front yards of anyone who would help any black...white or another black, all the time "As stated in the Gospel of Luke, Thou shall.....".
The Crusades in the 1000=1200's was a Jihad against Islam, carried out by Christians who hacked folks to death, and marched from Europe into the Middle East to do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Crusaders were no more the voice of Christianity that the Taliban is the voice of Islam.
Get educated, sweetie.

I think it is a disgrace. There was a Catholic church there before 911 and they are not allowing that to go forward with all the red tape. Now they want Muslims to throw a party on the ashes of their victims! It is a disgrace. They should be building a memorial to the victims, not turning it into some holy site for the people who murdered them.

It's O.K. as long as you do not let any Muslims pray on it. Christians, Jews, Hindus, etc. - they are all fine.
But if a Muslim lays a mat down then They will have you on the terrorist checklist so fast your head will spin.
What a buch of bigoted idiots these people are.
