Pride itself leads to other vices. There are several stories about the fall of Lucifer, but the main thing to remember from all these stories that is was his Pride that brought upon his downfall.

One story is that Lucifer was the Archangel of the seraphim in Heaven. And that his position in Heaven lead him to become arrogant (Pride). Then he became jealous (Envy) of God and wanted to be above God himself. This of course lead Lucifer to hate (Wrath) God, which lead him to rebel against God.

Another story is that Lucifer was the first angel to be created by God and was the most favored son of God, which fueled Lucifer's Pride. Than when the Father begotten His Son the Father poured all of His love into His Son. This cause Lucifer to become jealous (Envy) of the Son, and in turn cause him to even hate (Wrath) the Son. This is what cause Lucifer to rebel in Heaven.

Another story is that Lucifer was placed in charge of the earth, and because of his position lead him to become arrogant (Pride) and he always wanted to be seated upon a higher cloud to reign over the earth. This eventually lead him to become envious (Envy) and hate (Wrath) God. And of course this began the war in Heaven.

And even another story is that Lucifer being the first angel created by God was favored above all other angels which lead to his arrogance (Pride). Then God created mankind and told all the angels in Heaven to bow down to man. Of course because of Lucifer's Pride he refused to bow down to man and became envious (Envy) because God loved man over himself. This of course lead Lucifer to hate (Wrath) God and lead to the rebellion in Heaven.

So you see nothing good can come from Pride. And a proud person will never humble themselves before God. And if Pride has a strong hold upon them they are incapable of repenting for their sins. To a proud person they do not commit any sins, because if they did commit any sins they would not be perfect.

That is why the humble man can find their way into God's kingdom.

No, There is a difference between the kind of pride that God hates (Proverbs 8:13) and the kind of pride we feel about a job well done. The kind of pride that stems from self-righteousness is sin, and God hates it because it is a hindrance to seeking Him. Psalm 10:4 explains that the proud are so consumed with themselves that their thoughts are far from God: “In his pride the wicked does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.” This kind of haughty pride is the opposite of the spirit of humility that God seeks: “Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:3). The “poor in spirit” are those who recognize their utter spiritual bankruptcy and their inability to come to God aside from His divine grace. The proud, on the other hand, are so blinded by their pride that they think they have no need of God or, worse, that God should accept them as they are because they deserve His acceptance.

    sooner or later

Pro 16:18 Pride [goeth] before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

2Sa 22:28 And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine eyes [are] upon the haughty, [that] thou mayest bring [them] down.

Psa 18:27 For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks.

No, not looking where you walk has a tendency to result in falls.

Yes...moral, physical, spiritual, financial, etc. etc...

It is perhaps the reason why many a war was begun.

    Thanks for the Q!
