What books or authors would you advise for me?

I am a teenage girl who enjoys a variety of authors from Edgar Allan Poe to John Grisham, but I am looking for an author who writes books similar to Michael Crichton's Timeline. Any suggestions of authors like the ones I mentioned before would also be nice.

P.S: I hate Twilight with a passion, so don't bother mentioning it, also, my 9-year-old brother reads Harry Potter, so you'll need to be a bit more creative :D

i in my view use the IMDB. i like using "genuine" names and nicknames in no specific order. If i'm searching for a close-by call, i seem for indie movies that are from that geographical section. while it contains severe fantasy, it somewhat is all approximately organic creativity and understanding of words, so there is not lots you're able to do different than be certainly sturdy with words.
