I received a ticket for possession of marijuana, the officer told me that it was a similar ticket to running a stoplight. This is a first offense, and I have no previous criminal record whatsoever. What are the best case/worst case scenarios, and how big a fine am I most likely going to have to pay?

So I smoked this once a little while ago. It made me feel euphoric and dream-like and i tripped a little bit on it. It was pretty psychadelic after I smoked a fair amount. It lasted about two or three hours, and was a slightly slow creeper. If anyone has any more questions that could help me clarify what this was I'd be very happy to answer them. I'm a fifteen year old girl. I'm average, not ugly, not overweight, but not super skinny or pretty. I've had a couple boyfriends, but since moving to a new city, I've been completely ignored by the guys, like I was the ugliest thing in the world. No one wants to be anything more than friends with me, and it's very demoralizing. I don't know what to do. I'm not sexy or fun and I don't really have any assets to work with. I'm looking for mystery, suspense, horror novels written for young adults. I love Michael Crichton, Ray Bradbury and James Patterson. If anyone knows of a survival-type novel where zombies take over the earth (something like H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds except with zombies) that would be awesome. Please no Twilight or Vampire Diaries suggestions. Or anything overly romantic and sappy.

If they are so secure in their beliefs wouldn't it make sense that they would just leave everyone alone and be happy? How come they feel the need to push their beliefs on everyone in the name of their favorite deity?

I recently read War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy and Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky and loved both novels. Can anyone reccomend books by similar Russian authors?

I'm looking for a nice, mild drug with a high lasting from an hour to three hours. No crazy hallucinations, preferably just a light-headed, good feeling. A household item or something really cheap would be great. Also, please don't post telling me not to try drugs and that it will ruin my life and ya-di-ya-di-ya. Believe me, I've heard it all before.

I acknowledge the universe as a superior entity--a God if you will, but I don't believe that it wants us all to worship it or attempt to convert people to think the way we do. I believe that it doesn't really care or differentiate between Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, or whatever you are, just so long as you respect nature and try to be a good person. I believe that after you die you become a part of the universe's consciousness but you are still an individual as well... does this sound strange to anybody? If anyone can help put a name to this religion I will be extremely grateful!

I am a teenage girl who enjoys a variety of authors from Edgar Allan Poe to John Grisham, but I am looking for an author who writes books similar to Michael Crichton's Timeline. Any suggestions of authors like the ones I mentioned before would also be nice.

P.S: I hate Twilight with a passion, so don't bother mentioning it, also, my 9-year-old brother reads Harry Potter, so you'll need to be a bit more creative :D
