  • Marijuana civil infraction penalty for a minor in california?

I received a ticket for possession of marijuana, the officer told me that it was a similar ticket to running a stoplight. This is a first offense, and I have no previous criminal record whatsoever. What are the best case/worst case scenarios, and how big a fine am I most likely going to have to pay?

  • I'm looking for a strain of bud?

So I smoked this once a little while ago. It made me feel euphoric and dream-like and i tripped a little bit on it. It was pretty psychadelic after I smoked a fair amount. It lasted about two or three hours, and was a slightly slow creeper. If anyone has any more questions that could help me clarify what this was I'd be very happy to answer them. Don't worry I'm not being sketchy, I have a med card and everything. Thanks so much :)

  • in eragon does murtagh actually die?

Because I'm refusing to read the rest of the series if he does. Seriously, he was the best human character in the book.

  • So everyone's been talking about Jersey Shore?

I decided to watch the first episode and I was wondering how they support that kind of crazy lifestyle. Don't they have jobs?

  • Are we headed for a second Guilded Age?

Social historians especially, will history repeat itself? I mean, of course you can't know for sure but are the trends pointing towards that? Or maybe are we already there?

  • Help with tracking an old friend down?

Ok, I doubt if anyone will be able to help because I've got so little on him, but here goes. I'm looking to reconnect with an old boyfriend. I'm in high school, and I knew him about a year ago for a few months. I can't remember his last name and at the time I didn't have a phone and his had been taken away from him. Since then I moved schools and lost contact. I don't know what to do about it, but I'd really like to see him again. If anyone has any idea how to go about finding someone with this little information, please let me know. I will be very, very grateful :)

Cupid as in the god of love in the original mythology; not cupid the fat baby on Valentine's cards

  • Comments/critiques on my poem? People who know what they're talking about pls.?

Before you read this, keep in mind that I'm very young and my writing hasn't nearly matured. So don't judge to harshly. That having been said, this is the poem:

Its roof was not welcoming blue

Its light was not cheery and gold

There was no lush carpet to ripple

When the breezes through it rolled

Its ceiling is gray and melancholy

Its colorless light does not warm

Its floor is sharp and stony

Without beauty or pattern or form

    The world is cold

Again, please real literary critiques. I don't want to be told how much I suck. I want to be told why I suck and how to change it.

  • How to get a boyfriend?

I'm a fifteen year old girl. I'm average, not ugly, not overweight, but not super skinny or pretty. I've had a couple boyfriends, but since moving to a new city, I've been completely ignored by the guys, like I was the ugliest thing in the world. No one wants to be anything more than friends with me, and it's very demoralizing. I don't know what to do. I'm not sexy or fun and I don't really have any assets to work with. I need advice, guys what do you look for in a girl? girls, how do you get a guy? Thanks for your help.

  • Books for a teenage/young adult girl?

I'm looking for mystery, suspense, horror novels written for young adults. I love Michael Crichton, Ray Bradbury and James Patterson. If anyone knows of a survival-type novel where zombies take over the earth (something like H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds except with zombies) that would be awesome. Please no Twilight or Vampire Diaries suggestions. Or anything overly romantic and sappy.

  • Why do people of strong religious beliefs tend to be extremely intolerant?

If they are so secure in their beliefs wouldn't it make sense that they would just leave everyone alone and be happy? How come they feel the need to push their beliefs on everyone in the name of their favorite deity?

  • Anyone know a drug like this?

I'm looking for a nice, mild drug with a high lasting from an hour to three hours. No crazy hallucinations, preferably just a light-headed, good feeling. A household item or something really cheap would be great. Also, please don't post telling me not to try drugs and that it will ruin my life and ya-di-ya-di-ya. Believe me, I've heard it all before.

  • Does anyone know what religion I am?

I acknowledge the universe as a superior entity--a God if you will, but I don't believe that it wants us all to worship it or attempt to convert people to think the way we do. I believe that it doesn't really care or differentiate between Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, or whatever you are, just so long as you respect nature and try to be a good person. I believe that after you die you become a part of the universe's consciousness but you are still an individual as well... does this sound strange to anybody? If anyone can help put a name to this religion I will be extremely grateful!

  • What books or authors would you advise for me?

I am a teenage girl who enjoys a variety of authors from Edgar Allan Poe to John Grisham, but I am looking for an author who writes books similar to Michael Crichton's Timeline. Any suggestions of authors like the ones I mentioned before would also be nice.

P.S: I hate Twilight with a passion, so don't bother mentioning it, also, my 9-year-old brother reads Harry Potter, so you'll need to be a bit more creative :D
