So everyone's been talking about Jersey Shore?

I decided to watch the first episode and I was wondering how they support that kind of crazy lifestyle. Don't they have jobs?

    I think they all come from well-to-do families that help support them. Also, we don't know if they had serious jobs prior to taking off for Jersey Shore. I wonder if they were paid as much during the times of those first episodes, or if MTV promised to provide all their alcohol money for them, knowing very well (remember from the days of The Real World) that alcohol adds to the sheer drama of any TV-worthy moment.
