Marijuana civil infraction penalty for a minor in california?

I received a ticket for possession of marijuana, the officer told me that it was a similar ticket to running a stoplight. This is a first offense, and I have no previous criminal record whatsoever. What are the best case/worst case scenarios, and how big a fine am I most likely going to have to pay?

Update:

I may be moving to another state, will the infraction result in a delay in getting my drivers' license there?

The is not a civil matter, but it is an infraction. However, the officer was wrong as to the effect. Conviction of this offense will result in suspension of your drivers license for one year, or a one year delay in obtaining a license if you do not already have one. There are alternatives to conviction which you should inquire about.
