How to silence a guitar using an accessory called...?? Forgot its name?
Ok, here's the deal, I need to badly practice my guitar, except silently. I heard there's some "MUTER" or wtv you call it. Would you also kindly tell me where I could purchase it?! thanks!

If it's an electric guitar, you can simply use headphones.
If its an acoustic, practicing silently will only be of help for technical exercises, and only some of those at best. The best thing you can do is find yourself a secluded spot where you can practice without bothering your neighbors.
A more advanced technique you might wish to explore is to study WITHOUT the instrument. What I mean by this is that you visualize every note, every sound, every motion IN YOUR HEAD. This is extremely powerful. It's an enormous feat of concentration, but if you achieve it, you can practice no matter where you are, and your memory will become almost super-human.
You can also perform certain hand exercises to strengthen your muscles WITHOUT the instrument, although this is no substitute for technical exercises. They will, however, help you save time.
