    Monomial...

    A binomial is a polynomial with two terms which are not like terms. The following are all binomials: 2x – 3, 3x5 +8x4, and 2ab – 6a2b5.

    Monomial - A polynomial with one term. The following are all monomials: 5x3, 8, and 4xy.

    Is (x+3) a monomial or polynomial?

    Then how does, x+3 differ from (x+3)?

    This is a binomial because there are two terms. If you meant for the problem to say -x^2 + 6x^5, the degree is 5. This is because the degree of a term is the sum of the exponents for the variable.

    monomial, there's one term

    bi = 2 tri = 3

    that polynomial is a monomial for it has only one term in that expression.

    these are the examples for other polynomials:

    binomial: x-4

    trinomial: 4x^3 +3x -2

    hope you understand.

    P(a)=25a is a monomial.

    monomial: a polynom with one term (sorry for mistake :)

    binomial: polynom with 2 terms etc.

    Is 25a the number of a problem that you have not defined?? It seems likely!!

    monomial, because it is only one multiplication
