i want to get a tattoo in honor of my grandmother?

That such a sweet thing to do. Omg. I say do it. Well where would your grandma want you to put it? It would have a lot of meaning if you found somewhere that has a story. Like i would put it a tattoo of sakura blossom on my back because my grandma planted a sakura tree in her back yard because she loved the flower so much and it would be on my back because my grandma always told me to stand up straight. She nagged at me to always keep my back straight and now i have one of the best posture. :D all thanks to her.

a lot of people put tattoos that are honoring someone on their wrist, so you can always see it. if youre afraid you might need to hide it for any reason you could also put it behind your ear or on your lower stomach, right above the belt line. anywhere personal where you can see and easily show it to other people is a good place

What do you remember most about her? If an orchid still stands as that, then get. If I were to get a tattoo for my grandmother, I'd get a scrabble tile, or maybe a few spelling out her name or something because she loved scrabble and we always played it.

I think that's a great idea. It's something she loved and she was known for loving, so it's pretty much perfect. About the design: if she always had a bow shaped a certain kind, that would be the best design, otherwise pick whichever one you like best. You can't really make your bow's colour fit your outfit.. Do you know which colour she loved best?

yes that would be nice, but its pretty basic. I would dig a little deeper and get something a little more personal
